We Teach AI Skills
Most companies that use AI are trying to save you time. We are trying to teach you something useful. That is a different job, and it changes how we build.
It would be easy to make a tool that just gives a student the answer. AI can do that in a second. We deliberately do not. Our tools are built so that AI helps you understand and helps you build, while the thinking stays yours. When a tool could either hand you the answer or help you reach it yourself, we build it to help you reach it yourself. That is slower. It is also the entire point.
This is not a small design detail. It is our core belief about education. A young person who understands what an AI agent is and can build a simple one has gained something real. A young person who watched a machine do it for them has gained nothing. We teach you to understand.
So when you read the promises below about data and safety, understand that they sit underneath this one. The pedagogy is the product while everything else protects it.
How We Teach with AI
Our learning path is built in stages, and what the AI is used for changes as you grow through them.
Early on, the goal is simply to get you building and over the fear of it, so the tools keep things simple and let you make your first thing that lives on the web. Later, as you move up, they help you read and lightly edit code, then understand and build small tools, and finally find a real need and build something a real person would use. At every stage the ceiling is set low enough to reach and the door to go deeper stays open. The work is always pitched to what you already understand, never ahead of it.
One thing stays constant throughout. The AI is a tool you use, not a teacher that replaces one. You do the thinking and you make the decisions. The AI is there to help you carry them out, and we teach you to treat its output as a useful draft to check, never as a final answer to trust.
AI is often wrong, so always check
No AI model is reliable on its own, and we will not pretend otherwise. Part of what we teach is the skill of using AI well, which includes knowing when to doubt it. Our tools say plainly that AI output is a helpful draft, not a final truth. When the stakes are real, like exam preparation or anything that affects a decision, we tell you to verify. As we say at Kade Labs, AI is the engine but you are the driver.
We tell you when AI made something
If a summary, a piece of feedback, a lesson, or a generated image came from an AI model, you will be able to tell. Hiding this would be dishonest, and it would also undercut the very skill we are trying to teach you. You have a right to know what you are reading and who, or what, produced it.
What We Do With Your information
We collect only what we need. To run your account and track your learning, we need things like your name, your email or phone number, and a record of your progress. We do not ask for more than the tools require.
We do not sell it. We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to advertisers or data brokers. Our products do not carry advertising that profiles you. Your learning is not a thing we auction.
We use AI providers carefully. When a tool sends your input to an AI model to generate a response, we avoid sending personal identifying details that the task does not need. We use providers who commit to not training their models on data sent through their business interfaces. We treat your learning data as yours.
We keep it only as long as it helps you. Your progress and account data stay while your account is active. If you close your account, we remove your personal data within a reasonable period, except for records we are required to keep.
We protect it. We use sensible security practices against unauthorised access. No system is perfectly secure, and we will not claim otherwise, but we take this seriously and we will tell you promptly if something happens that affects you.
You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Write to kadelabsio [@] gmail . com and we will act within a reasonable time. This sits alongside your rights under the Nigeria Data Protection Act, which we aim to follow.
Special Care for Young People
A large part of who we teach is Nigerian youth, and some of our learners are children. Being an education company means this is not an afterthought for us. It is central.
We do not create or allow content in our tools that sexualises, endangers, or exploits a child, full stop. We design our AI interactions to be age-appropriate, and where a tool is meant for younger learners we hold its content and safety to a higher standard and err on the side of caution.

What We Ask of You
Using AI well is a skill, and our tools exist partly to teach it. So we ask you to use them honestly. Do not use them to cheat in a way that defeats your own learning, because that only cheats you. Do not try to make the AI produce harmful, hateful, or unsafe content. Do not use the tools to harm other people. We may limit or close accounts used this way.
How We Use AI in Our Own Work
We are a small team and we use AI models to build Kade Labs, the way a good builder uses good tools. We use them to write and review code, draft content, and analyse information so we can move faster. A person at Kade Labs reviews what matters before it reaches you. AI helps us work. It does not make the final call on anything that affects you or your child.
When this changes
AI moves quickly, and so will this page. When we make a meaningful change to how we teach with AI or handle your data, we will update the date at the top, and where the change is significant we will tell you directly.
